I am trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach, a structured, multisensory, and evidence-based method proven to support students with dyslexia. Each lesson is carefully designed to build decoding, spelling, and reading fluency skills through individualized, systematic instruction. Hello! I am Kori Kirk, a passionate educator with a strong background in literacy instruction. I hold a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. I have worked with elementary aged children for 19 years as a First Grade Teacher, Kindergarten Teacher, Literacy Specialist, and Teacher Instructional Coach. My tutoring approach blends creativity, with researched-backed strategies, to make learning, engaging, personalized, and fun.
In addition to general literacy support, I specialize in working with students diagnosed with dyslexia or those who experience reading challenges. I am certified in the Science of Reading and trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach, a structured, multisensory, and research-supported method proven to help struggling readers succeed. This specialized instruction targets decoding, spelling, and reading fluency in a systematic and supportive way.

The Bright Minds Learning Bundle provides 12 tutoring sessions per month (or 3 hours per week) for $810 upfront, offering the same 10% discount as the Bright Minds Bundle. This package is designed for students who need consistent, focused support to navigate their academic challenges and achieve success.

How are tutoring sessions conducted?
Our team is based in Castle Rock, CO! It is preferred to meet at public libraries to provide a quiet, focused, and engaging environment. We’re happy to explore library locations that are most convenient for your family, including Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, and Centennial.
Do I need a long-term contract?
No. You can sign up for single sessions or discounted bundles.
What if I need to reschedule a session?
We offer flexible rescheduling up to 24 hours before your appointment.
Cancellation Policy: To ensure that I can offer the best service to all students, I require a 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling of sessions. If a session is canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled time, a cancellation fee of 50% of the session’s cost will be applied. I appreciate your understanding!
